It is patterned with 3 cameo panels, one with a fisherman on the shore and windmills in the distance, one with sailing boats and one with a man on a gondola. It is clearly hallmarked with the Right looking Lion passant and a 2 below, the mark used between 1814 and 1953 for Silver of minimum 833 fineness, Minerva with an M [which is a regional assay office mark] and a date code E [which is for 1939].
