His best known commissions being for the Chap Book and Century magazines. His style is closely derived from Beardsley, employing the same serpentine flowing lines. Many of the designs adapted by Doulton are from the Bradley, His Book Vol 1 No 4, 1896 which features his illustrations for Beauty and the
