Scotland has a long tradition of Millefiori and Lampwork Glass paperweight making, greatly influenced by the Ysart family.

John Deacons started glassmaking in 1967 when he was apprenticed at Strathearn Glass (where Salvador Ysart was the founder).

John Deacons has a long history in paperweight making at various Scottish firms such as Strathearn and Perthshire. After some 50 years in the business, and a superb artistic mind, John's lifetime of learning, development and refinement of his techniques sees his creative talents producing quality paperweights at Deacons Glass.

Deacons Glass is a family run studio where John and his son Craig produce superb quality Handmade Millefiori and Lampwork Glass paperweights - from their factory situated the ancient market town of Crieff, Scotland.

Roundabout Antiques is very proud to bring these pieces to Australia to service local and International collectors.
