Unlike the San Graal trees twist against a deep, sombre, dark-blue background, yet simultaneously give way to uplifting, cool, fresh pale blue waters. Within a trinity of gold bands, burgundy forget-me-nots from the tapestry's frieze by Henry Deale, add vibrant colour and energy to the design. Whilst the darkness still lingers beyond the trees, it does not affect the flow of life which permeates through the design. Kerry's work holds echoes of mysteries. For the Moorcroft designer, simplicity if found in a story told simply through the forget-me-nots and the depth and contrast of colour and form permeating through the design.
