When Royal Doulton took over the Beswick factory in 1969, they acquired the modelling skills of Albert Hallam who had worked on the iconic Beatrix Potter line of figures. These little characters were amongst some of Beswick's most successful products and Royal Doulton decided to create a similar collection of Bunnykins figures. The first 9 figures were launched in 1972 - and all were inspired by Walter Hayward's nursery ware patterns.
With collectors worldwide, the Royal Doulton Bunnykins range spans over 500 different Royal Doulton Bunnykins figures, with numerous Limited Editions, Special Colourways and Australian Exclusive designs being released over the last 5 decades ....
