Giuseppe Armani (b1935 - d 2006) was born in Calci (Pisa) and has achieved international fame and recognition. He started to draw when he was very young. Almost immediately, he unveiled a surprising capacity for realistically reproducing a wide range of subjects.

Even at an early age, his artistic representations were uniquely sensitive and his interpretation vibrantly brilliant. Initially he followed a self taught path. He explored the many works of arts in the area of Pisa and the radiant art treasures of Florence and Siena. He started his career in Pisa, working as a young sculptor in the workshop of an art gallery.

In 1975 Florence Sulpture d'Arte and Armani commenced their exclusive relationship. This merging created the unique opportunity of communicating to people of different cultures and traditions, the experiences and emotions that are the basis of any artistic creation.

Armani created the sculptures that would then be molded and issued in cold-cast porcelain, a very time consuming process that allows the most minute details of the original to be reproduced.

The figurines are painted with painstaking care using luminous colours by artists from the Florence Studios. Armani's figurines often feature various finishes, including pastel, terra-cotta, and metallic, adding to their distinct appearance.
