The writing slope folds down and is in excellent, original condition with a Burgundy leather. Comes with inkwells, Ivory page turners, some original dip pens and a propelling pencil and original leather bound Cash Books and Books of account. There is some degradation of the original leather holding pens in the top flap, but it is still very serviceable. The family has replaced the Presented to Brass Plaque on the front, with a clean unengraved example to protect their identity [perhaps you can start your own family history].
